This project aims to transform the until now IDM’s undertaken community actions in the city of Shkodra into a self-sustainable reality, by further developing social cohesion through concrete empowerment of both citizens and local government, through building institutionalized public-private partnerships, consolidating the already existing structure of the Community Liaisons in the city of Shkodra and establishing a Local Trust Fund with the contribution of both public and private actors. The project follows the experience and actions implemented through a number of projects by IDM in the last couple of years with the aim to consolidate practices of participatory governance and community empowerment.
